WE CREATE SPACE
We create spaces for art and ideas, infrastructure for artists and creatives, such as studios, exhibition and community spaces. Places which allow people meet and work for their passion, which make live worth living.
By doing so we breath new life into cellars, suterens, garages that have been empty for years, even decades. With this we help regenerate the urban fabric by giving it a meaningful purpose, bringing new life to the city.
WE CREATE EXHIBITIONS
We let the people meet high quality contemporary art in many ways.
At the 1111 we present works which reflect to our work in many way, art in the intersection of architecture and contemporary art. It also gives space to present exhibitions related to our research projects, like the Velem Archive or the Cultural Spaces of Lágymányos.
At Café Művház we put big scale works in various medium on display. This gives the opportunity to have a coffee in the presence of a piece of art and on the other hand it helps the art scene to find new audience.
We help the art scene with many other exhibition projects realized with partner institutions in Hungary and Europe.
